Research on influences of groundwater salinity and flow velocity on artificial frozen wall

Groundwater flow has a negative impact on the artificial freezing project, especially when salt content of groundwater is high, it will change thermophysical properties, which isn’t conducive to formation frozen wall. In this paper, changes in temperature and seepage fields during wall under saline were studied. By established seepage-freezing hydrothermal coupling calculation model, combined with small model test, based theory heat transfer porous media. Results show that an uneven state action horizontal seepage. The perpendicular direction formed slowly, while parallel water quickly. affects development As increases, thickness decreases. maximum percentage reduction upstream downstream can reach 80.4% 59.5%, respectively.
